Winter (Fall) is a wonder of the natural world. One of the most beautiful times of the year. The trauma of COVID-19 and lockdowns (our self-imposed hibernation) has begun to wake us up to our dependence on and connections to the environment. As the season of hibernation begins and the days grow short, we are reminded of the cycles of life. We are aware that the death of winter will soon give way to the rebirth of spring.
