After the long cold death of winter, the warmth of spring kick-starts the rebirth. Leaves burst from the seemingly lifeless branches in a wonderful way. Green explosions in slow motion. This is truly one of the most beautiful times of the year.

Now more than ever the call of the wild is drawing us closer. Successive Lockdowns have had us imprisoned and made us much more aware of our connection to nature. As our society's self-imposed hibernations to protect our most vulnerable draw to their inevitable ends and we begin to wake up to our dependence and connections to the environment we begin to realise that we must try to save it. Will we do enough or will we fail? Time will tell.
