Jupiter is the largest planet in our celestial family and has a storm that has been raging for hundreds of years. Our first observations of this phenomenon date back at least 300 years but it has been continuously observed since 1878. The red spot is a marvel of our Solar System and is a super storm that has winds that furiously circulate in excess off 250 mph.
