The Earth and her companion the moon are locked in a Celestial dance. The orbit of the Moon makes its way around the blue-green orb we call our home. In the same way, the Earth makes its own way around the Sun taking our natural satellite with it.

This truth was eluded to in the Quran. Surah al Anbiyah in verse 33 it states "It is He Who created the Night and the Day and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along each in its rounded course. "
